The Jurnal PTI (Jurnal Pendidikan Teknologi Informasi) Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Putra Indonesia is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes scholarly articles on the use of information technology at all levels of education. This includes using technology to enhance learning, to support teaching and teaching administration. In addition, articles on the teaching of information technology are also welcome. While information technology is the central focus, a sound underpinning of pedagogical principles is requisite.

The journal publishes conceptual, theoretical and empirical papers that make a substantial contribution to determining the role of information technology in education.

All manuscripts are submitted and reviewed electronically. We provide our published authors with both a quality print publication and the widespread readership that comes from publishing all articles online within a few weeks of acceptance. This approach ensures that published works are read and cited by the widest possible audience.
Universitas Putra Indonesia YPTK Padangen-USJURNAL PTI (PENDIDIKAN DAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI) FAKULTAS KEGURUAN ILMU PENDIDIKAN UNIVERSITA PUTRA INDONESIA "YPTK" PADANG2355-9977Innovation of Web-Based Digital Attendance System with Double Validation for Student Attendance Authentication via QR Code, Selfie, and Geolocation (Case Study: SMK Negeri 1 Bojonegoro)
https://jpti-upiyptk.org/ojs/index.php/jpti/article/view/274

This study aims to develop a web-based digital attendance system with dual validation using QR Code, selfie verification, and geolocation to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of student attendance recording at SMK Negeri 1 Bojonegoro. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The trial subjects included 35 students, 1 teacher, and 1 school operator. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The system quality was evaluated using the ISO/IEC 9126 standard, which includes functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, and maintainability, while user satisfaction was measured using a Likert scale. The results showed that the system was successfully developed and could be used according to the school's needs. The system quality test obtained an average score of 4.1 (good category), while the user satisfaction level achieved an average score of 3.9 (good category). The system is considered capable of simplifying the attendance process, accelerating access to attendance data, reducing the potential for attendance fraud, and supporting real-time attendance monitoring. Therefore, this web-based digital attendance system is feasible to be used as a more effective attendance solution in the school environment.
Muhammad Rinov CuhanazriansyahAhmad Kholiqul AminAprilia Eka Widiana

https://jpti-upiyptk.org/ojs/index.php/jpti/article/view/278

The application of innovative technology in learning can enhance the competence of students, which corresponds to the needs of the world of work and industry. The aim of this study is to create an Android-based learning media—also known as a smart informax realised in an application that can be accessed using a smartphone. This application supports project-based learning even if students are in the process of internship in industry. It can be used anywhere, in school, out of school or for students in fieldwork practice (PKL). This application is designed to suit the needs of students in the world of work and industry. The development of this application uses R&D methods adapted to the ADDIE development model. There are five stages of development: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. This study involved 30 students of grade X majoring in computer network engineering at SMKN 1 Tanjungpinang as research participants. This study used observation and questionnaires as data collection techniques. The descriptive data collection method used by materialists and media experts is the Likert scale, which has four options of answers. The material expert evaluation results obtained a total score of 98.00 with an average score of 3.62 out of 27 evaluation indicators with a percentage of 90.74%, so it belongs to the category 'very suitable for use'. With a positive student response with an average of 92.67% at the media implementation stage, this falls into a highly qualified category. Evaluation results of application use by students showed an average improvement of about 43.74% in student learning outcomes. This smart Informax application is specially designed to support project-based learning to improve student competence and student skills in industry-based projects that will affect student performance during their internship in the world of industry.
Said Thaha GhafaraAri Syaiful Rahman ArifinMuhammad GiatmanFadhilah

https://jpti-upiyptk.org/ojs/index.php/jpti/article/view/280

The growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) is driving the development of monitoring systems capable of improving the efficiency of resource management, including in water management systems. This research aims to develop an IoT-based Smart Water Tank Monitoring system to support the real-time monitoring of water levels on campus. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) methodology using the ADDIE model, comprising the stages of Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The system developed integrates an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, an ESP32 microcontroller, a local web-based dashboard, LED indicators, and historical data storage. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, documentation, and system testing. The data were analysed using quantitative descriptive analysis, Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Black Box Testing. The results of the study indicate that the system is capable of automatically monitoring water conditions, displaying information in real time, improving the effectiveness of monitoring, and supporting the efficient management of water resources.
Boedy IrhadtantoMuhammad Rinov CuhanazriansyahAdam Hendrawan
